Janice Quinn
I am a qualified integrative counsellor with a person-centred background, based in the Hull & Beverley area. I have experience of working with adults, teenagers and young children who have had difficulty coping with bereavement, anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, relationships, eating disorders and other issues. I previously worked as a Pastoral Manager, working in secondary schools supporting students through difficult and challenging times.
As a person-centred counsellor I would like to reassure my clients that I am non-judgemental in my approach and clients can expect an honest and trustworthy service where they will be treated respectfully. I hope that clients can find comfort in sharing their anxieties with me and together we can develop a therapeutic relationship to help better understand, and work through those difficult emotions and challenges that life has presented.
​I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, which helps to ensure that my work is conducted within a recognised professional ethical framework that protects both counsellor and client.

Qualifications and Experience
BSc (Hons) in Health & Social Welfare.
Foundation Degree (L5) in Contemporary approaches to Counselling.
NCFE CACHE Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
NCFE CACHE level 3 Diploma in Counselling.
Diploma in Mental Health.
Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling.
I have worked predominately with Children and Young People in Schools.
I have also worked voluntarily with CRUSE Bereavement and with Samaritans supporting adults and young people who are managing difficult situations in their life.
